I trained at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and worked in the Bay Area for three years before moving to Los Angeles for ten. I have been bi-coastal between New York and LA for the last two years.
The majority of my career has been working on new and classic American plays at places like The Magic Theatre, The American Conservatory Theatre, and Theatre at Boston Court. I have worked on plays by (and often with) playwrights such as Sam Shepard, Theresa Rebeck, Will Eno, Jackie Sibblies Drury, Beth Henley, Abe Koogler, Lauren Gunderson, Steve Yockey, Chris Pena, Aditi Kapil, Jon Marans, Jon Robin Baitz, Robert Clyman, Keith Bunin, and more. I've also played leading roles in a handful of arthouse, independent, and award winning films. The plays and films I work on can be similar in tone as my aesthetic tends to be dark, smart, poetic, and often connected to something spiritual. I am now spending most of my time in New York City and intend to continue my work on new American plays and festival bound independent films on both coasts. |
